Latest features, improvements, and updates to PanoCool.
Share any view of your tour as a photo. In the editor, open Share and click Snapshot: the view you’re looking at opens in a large preview with a frame on it. Drag to frame your shot, scroll or use the zoom buttons, then press the shutter. The photo you download is exactly what’s inside the frame. Pick a size from ready-made presets for Instagram posts and stories, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube thumbnails and wallpapers, or type your own. Turn on the share badge to add your project name, link and a QR code that opens the tour, in the corner you choose, and make it bigger or smaller with the Badge size slider. It never goes smaller than phones can scan, even after Instagram shrinks the photo. You can include your hotspots too. Snapshot works on 360° photo scenes. Free plans add a small PanoCool watermark; on the Cool and Super Cool plans you can turn it off.
Your QR codes now match your tour. Share → QR Code takes its colors from your theme, darkened just enough to scan, or you can pick your own colors for the pattern, the corners and the background. Choose a square, rounded or dot style: every style keeps the blank margin scanners need, and you’ll see a warning if your colors are too faint to scan. Your choices are remembered on this device. The download is a clean card with your project name, link and an optional call to action, below, above or beside the code. Keep the PanoCool logo in the middle, or on the Cool and Super Cool plans use your own logo or none. Save it as a PNG, or as an SVG that stays sharp in print. The same style is used wherever your QR code appears: in Design a card with AI, and in the share badge on Snapshot photos.
Your virtual tour can now speak your visitors’ language. Offer one tour in up to five languages, and visitors switch between them from a language selector on the tour: the menu, scene titles, hotspot labels, popups and the viewer’s own buttons all change together. Anything not translated yet shows in the tour’s original language. Open the Settings tab, choose Languages and turn on Multiple languages, then add the languages you need. In Edit translations…, type translations yourself or let PanoCool AI fill every empty field in one click, for 1 AI edit per language. AI results stay marked as drafts until you review them and save. You also choose how visitors start: in their browser’s language, or in the language of a shared link that ends in ?lang=. Style the selector as tabs or a dropdown, in one of six positions and your theme’s colors. Multi-language tours are available on the Super Cool plan.
Turn a set of 360° photos into a house your visitors can walk through, in one click. Click AI Auto Connect in the editor’s Elements tab and PanoCool AI works out where each photo was taken, places every room on a floor plan and links the rooms next to each other, so visitors step from one to the next with Street View–style arrows and a smooth 3D walk. A short guided flow does the rest with you. It checks your photos, asks whether the house has one floor or several, and shows the result on a floor plan you can preview and adjust before anything is saved. It can then draw the floor plan itself, with walls, doors, windows and room names, and add a Floor plan button to your tour so visitors can see the whole layout. One Apply saves everything and hands you the link to share. It works best indoors, with photos taken a few steps apart from the same height. It uses one AI edit per scene, up to 30 scenes per run. Drawing the floor plan is optional and costs one AI edit per scene the first time.
Your tour can now get a floor plan without you drawing a single line. In the Street View Arrows add-on, PanoCool AI draws it for you from your 360° photos, with walls, doors, windows and room names. Need to change something? The editor makes it easy: move a wall, turn a window into a door or rename a room in a few clicks, then save the plan or download it as an image.
Street View Arrows used to mean placing every scene on a map or drawing a floor plan by hand. Now PanoCool AI can do that first pass for you: it looks at your 360° photos, works out where each one was taken, places them on a floor plan and links the ones next to each other — so visitors walk through the space instead of jumping between photos. Open the Add-ons tab, turn on Street View Arrows, and click AI Auto Connect. Scenes are only matched within a floor, so give each storey — or each separate zone, like a garden or a detached studio — its own floor level first. Nothing is locked in: you review every connection before it is applied, and the result opens as a floor plan you can edit, where dragging a dot moves that scene and its arrows with it. It works best indoors, shot step by step from the same tripod height with each spot in sight of the next — apartments, houses, offices and showrooms. Wall-size mirrors, glass walls and long empty corridors give it less to recognise, so a scene or two may stay unplaced; add those by hand, or select them later and run it again to fit them into the plan you already have. Up to 20 scenes per run, one AI edit per scene analyzed.
Some edits need a stronger engine than the everyday one. The AI edit box now has a mode picker: stay on Normal for day-to-day retouching at 1 AI edit, switch to Fast when a prompt keeps getting missed and you want the answer quickly, or pick Pro when you need the most precise result for detail work and final quality. Fast and Pro cost 5 AI edits each and follow awkward prompts far more closely — worth reaching for once Normal has had a try or two. Open the picker next to the reference image button, drag the slider, and the Make it! button shows what the next edit will cost before you spend it. Your choice stays selected for the edits that follow.
The Assets tab in Virtual Tour Studio is now Library — one home for everything you use more than once. Your uploaded images and videos are still there, joined by three new sections: Presets, for Callout and Circle Portal styles you've saved; Content, for popups and photo galleries shared across the tour; and Saved, for whole elements you've kept, with their click actions intact. Pick anything from the list and it drops straight into the middle of your current view. Sections that need a paid plan are marked with a crown, and the Library always reopens on whichever section you used last.
Two more corners of your tour now carry your brand instead of ours. Open the Metatags tab and expand Advanced options to upload a favicon — the small icon in the browser tab. It follows your tour everywhere it opens: your share links, your white-label or custom domain, and the password screen of a protected tour. PNG, ICO, or SVG up to 512KB. If a tour is password protected, open Share → Password Protection and expand Advanced options to decide what visitors see while it is locked: keep the PanoCool logo, upload your own, or show no logo at all. Both options are available on the Super Cool plan.
View your 360° photos for free, right on your computer. PanoCool Desktop opens panoramas stored on your device — no upload needed — so you can explore them full screen, capture reframed flat photos, enhance color and light, remove unwanted objects, and add text, images, or a watermark of your own. Download the free app for Windows 10/11 or macOS 12 and later (universal for Apple silicon and Intel).
Open one of your public PanoCool tours while signed in and use the new button on the right edge to jump straight into the editor in a new tab. The shortcut is visible only to you — never your visitors — and you can close it for the current view or turn it off from Account Settings.
Tilt, turn, and roll overlays so they sit naturally on walls, floors, and other surfaces in your 360° photo. Select a text, image, or icon overlay to open the floating 3D Rotation panel with sliders for Tilt (X), Turn (Y), and Roll (Z). Adjust live on desktop or mobile, reset any axis in one tap, and export with the rotation baked into the final image.
Create a popup or photo gallery once, then reuse it across hotspots and theme actions in the same virtual tour. Edit shared content in one place and every linked usage updates automatically. You can also turn existing saved content into a reusable item, search and preview your project library, or detach a popup copy when you need an independent version. Available for the Super Cool plan.
Drag a scene onto the panorama to create a navigation hotspot, then use the new tip popup to preview how it works and quickly switch styles — change the icon, or convert to Callout or Circle Portal while keeping the go-to-scene action. You can also choose “Don’t show this again” if you prefer a quieter workflow.
Pano Snap is a new free tool to easily extract reframed flat photos from any 360° equirectangular sphere image. Explore your panoramas using interactive normal, wide angle, little planet, or mirror ball projection views, adjust camera settings, and download high-resolution crops instantly. Supports JPEG, PNG, and TIFF formats with a beautiful clean watermark overlay.
PanoCool Stitcher is a new free tool for stitching DJI Avata360 UP and DOWN fisheye images into a single 360° equirectangular sphere photo. It supports JPG and DNG input formats, exports JPG, PNG, or TIFF results, and lets you download, edit, or share the merged panorama with PanoCool.
You can now create branded share links using user aliases and project aliases. User aliases support links like @alias/project-slug, and project aliases let owners share @username/project-alias or @alias/project-alias. Available for Super Cool plan.
You can now upload 360° MP4 videos as scenes in Virtual Tour Studio. Available for Super Cool plan.
Save your frequently used AI editing prompts for quick reuse. Click the bookmark icon to save the current prompt with a custom name, then access all saved and built-in prompts from the prompt list. Available for Cool and Super Cool plans.
Save your most-used icons to a personal favorites list for quick access when building hotspots. Organize favorites by scope — Global (across all projects) or Project (current project only). Plus, save and reuse Callout hotspot settings as named presets with one click. Available for Cool and Super Cool plans.
