What is PanoCool

PanoCool is an all-in-one, web-based platform for creating, editing, and publishing 360° content. No installation is required.

Product selection guide

  • To build a hosted interactive tour, use Virtual Tour Studio.
  • To publish 360° imagery to Google Maps, use Street View Publisher.
  • To retouch a photo, remove objects, add overlays, or generate a 3D Gaussian Splat, use PanoCool Retouch.
  • To extract GPS-positioned panoramas from a recorded route, use Pano Mapper. Its results can be sent to Street View Publisher or Virtual Tour Studio.
  • To perform a focused image conversion or repair without signing in, use Free tools.

Typical cross-product workflows

  1. Edit → build → publish: prepare photos in PanoCool Retouch, create an interactive experience in Virtual Tour Studio, then share or export the tour.
  2. Record → map → publish: process a 360° video and GPX track in Pano Mapper, then send the generated images to Street View Publisher or Virtual Tour Studio.
  3. Repair or convert → continue: prepare source images with a free tool, then open the result in PanoCool Retouch, Virtual Tour Studio, or Street View Publisher.

Shared terminology

  • Panorama, 360 image, 360 photo, and sphere photo refer to 360° imagery.
  • Hotspot means an interactive element placed in a tour.
  • Virtual tour or walkthrough tour means a connected panorama experience.
  • Tour and project are often used interchangeably.
  • Flat photo or normal photo means a non-360° image.

Pricing and subscriptions

All prices are exclusive of tax, which varies by country. When downgrading, any storage above the new plan limit will be deleted. Product references describe feature-specific plan requirements.
