AI edit modes
Every AI edit runs in one of three modes. Normal is the everyday engine; Fast and Pro follow awkward prompts more closely and are worth reaching for once Normal has had a try or two.

| Normal | 1 AI edit | Everyday retouching at the lowest cost. The right first try for most edits. |
| Fast | 5 AI edits | Stronger results when Normal keeps missing the prompt, with the shortest wait of the two premium modes. |
| Pro | 8 AI edits | The most precise edits, for detail work and final quality. It is the slowest to render. |
Change the mode
- Select an area of the photo to open the AI edit box.
- Click the mode button next to the reference image button. It shows the current mode.
- Drag the slider to Normal, Fast, or Pro, or click a mode name under it. The panel shows what that mode is for and what it costs.
- Type the prompt and click Make it!. The button shows the cost whenever the edit costs more than one AI edit.
Notes
- The selected mode stays in place for the edits that follow, until it is changed again.
- AI edits are only charged when an edit succeeds. A failed or blocked edit costs nothing.
- Reference images, saved prompts, and the AI Edit Eraser work the same way in every mode.
