Late or failed payments

There’s a 7-day grace period when a plan’s renewal payment doesn’t go through on its payment date, for example because the card was declined, has expired or didn’t have enough funds. It’s for plans that renew automatically: a cancelled plan has no renewal payment, so it ends on its Active until date, as described above, unless you click Enable auto renew before then.

During those 7 days:

  • Your projects aren’t removed, and your published tours stay online.
  • The paid plan is paused: Cool and Super Cool features are locked, and you can’t create new projects.
  • Storage is limited to Hobby’s 500 MB. With more than that in use, you can’t upload photos or other files, and changes you make in the editor aren’t saved. Paying brings back the plan’s storage.
  • Billing & Usage shows Payment overdue on the plan, and you can’t change plans until it’s paid. PanoCool also emails you “Payment Issue: Action Required - PanoCool”.

To pay, open Billing & Usage at https://pano.cool/account/billing and click Update payment method (or Update Billing Info in the email), then enter a card that works. Once the payment goes through, the plan is back with all its features.

If it still isn’t paid after 7 days, the plan is cancelled and the account moves to Hobby, as when a plan is cancelled (see above): its tours are set to Inactive straight away, and projects over the 500 MB limit are permanently removed within 2 days. For what happens to custom domains, collaborators and aliases, see Agencies and client work. To get the paid features back, subscribe again at https://pano.cool/pricings

A Storage add-on whose payment fails works the same way: its extra storage doesn’t count until the payment goes through.
