Download a project as a Windows app

Download a project as an app for Windows 10 and 11. It opens the tour without the internet, so you can hand it to anyone on a USB stick or by email.

• How to: in the editor, click Share, then Export project, then the Windows App tab, then Buy Windows App. Once the payment goes through, the download starts by itself. Within its 30 minutes, Download Windows App downloads it again.
• Price: $9 + tax per project, on Cool and Super Cool. Super Cool’s 10 monthly website exports don’t cover it, and neither do Enterprise’s included exports.
• From the first download you have 30 minutes to download that project’s app again as often as you like, edits included. After that, the next download is a new purchase.
• Hobby (free): upgrade to Cool or Super Cool to buy it.
• Only the project’s owner can buy and download it.
• To open it: extract the whole zip (right-click it, then Extract All), then double-click the app inside, named after the tour. If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway. The zip’s How to open.txt has the same steps.
• Keep the app next to the panocool-project folder it came with.
• In the app, View has Back to the Start (Ctrl+R) and Full Screen (F11). Created with PanoCool opens pano.cool in the browser.
• Maps and videos from other sites still need the internet.
• Refunds: a bought app can be refunded until its first download starts.
