Toolbar labels

Rename the words on the tour’s own buttons, menus and short messages, such as “Fullscreen”, “Share” or “Loading…”, in the language the tour is written in. PanoCool shows its own labels in English and Vietnamese; a tour in any other language no longer has to show them in English, and it needs no second language.

  • Available on every paid plan (Cool and Super Cool). On the free plan, the Toolbar labels card shows an upgrade prompt.
  • In the editor, open Project Settings (the Settings tab), select Languages, then Toolbar labels. It opens full screen.
  • Your tour’s language: the language the tour is written in. AI writes the labels in it, and browsers and screen readers read the tour in it. On a tour with multiple languages, change it under Multiple languages › Original language instead.
  • Labels are grouped by where they show, such as Moving around, Screen and view or Sharing. Each row shows the label’s default next to a field: type a new label, or leave it empty to keep the default. The reset button next to a renamed label empties it again. Search finds labels by their default or their new wording.
  • Fill N labels with AI writes every empty label in the tour’s language, for 1 AI edit per run. Labels filled by AI are marked AI until edited. With too few AI edits, the page says so and links to Get more AI edits.
  • Nothing reaches visitors before Save labels; leaving with unsaved changes asks first.
  • The Toolbar labels card says how far along the labels are, for example “3 of 88 renamed · the rest show in English”.
  • On a tour with multiple languages, these labels are the original language’s. Visitors reading another language see that language’s labels: PanoCool’s own English or Vietnamese ones, or the ones set in Edit translations….
