Slideshow buttons for visitors

How to: in the editor, click the Theme tab, then click a menu button on the tour (or add one). Under What happens when visitors click?, choose Play a slideshow, set it up, and click Save. Visitors who click the button see the photos full screen over the tour, with the same controls and keys as above.

  • Each button has its own photos, timing and music, so a tour can have several, for example one for the house and one for the garden.
  • Photos: every photo in the tour, or the ones picked with Choose…, in tour order. With every photo chosen, photos added to the tour later play too; a hand-picked set stays as picked.
  • 360° turn speed, Other photos and Repeat work as in Share › Slideshow. A new button starts with the timing last used there on this device.
  • Music: No music, The tour’s background audio (the default when the tour has one), or A music track: one from the Music library…, or an MP3, M4A, WAV or OGG file sent with Upload a file…. An uploaded file counts towards the tour’s storage, and it is deleted when a saved button no longer plays it.
  • While a slideshow plays, the tour’s background audio and autorotation wait, and they carry on when it closes.
  • The slideshow’s words (Close, Play again…) appear in the visitor’s language, and they can be renamed under Toolbar labels, in the Slideshow group.
  • Use Preview to try the button before visitors see it.
