Download a project as a Mac app

Download a project as an app for macOS 11 and later, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Apple checks it before you get it, so it opens without warnings, and it shows the tour without the internet.

• How to: in the editor, click Share, then Export project, then the Mac App tab, then Buy Mac App. Once the payment goes through, PanoCool starts making the app.
• It takes a few minutes, while Apple checks it. You can close the progress window, or the whole page: it keeps going, and we email you when it’s ready. The email’s button opens the tour with the app ready to download, on any computer.
• Download Mac App downloads it again for about a day after it’s made. If you changed the tour since, Changed the tour since? Make a new one makes another within 30 minutes of your first download, edits included. After that, a new app is a new purchase.
• Price: $9 + tax per project, on every paid plan (Cool, Super Cool and Business). It’s never included: the 10 monthly website exports of Super Cool and Business don’t cover it.
• Hobby (free): can’t buy it; upgrade to Cool, Super Cool or Business first.
• Only the project’s owner can buy and download it.
• To open it: open the downloaded disk image (named after the tour), then double-click the app inside. There’s nothing to install; macOS asks once whether to open an app from the internet, so click Open. To keep it, drag the app to Applications.
• In the app, View has Back to the Start (⌘R) and Full Screen (⌃⌘F). Created with PanoCool › Visit pano.cool opens pano.cool in the browser.
• If it couldn’t be made, the email and Export project say why. Reply to the email and we’ll make it right.
• Maps and videos from other sites still need the internet.
• Refunds: a bought app can be refunded until its first download starts.
