Street View Arrows add-on: create familiar Google Street View style

  • in PanoCool Virtual Tour Studio, click Add-ons tab, click Street View Arrows add-on
  • turn on the add-on by clicking on toggle button
  • Next step is to define the position of all scenes and create connections between them. There are 3 options: place them on a map (On a Map mode), place them on a floor plan (On a Floor Plan mode), or let AI Auto Connect place and connect them for you — see the AI Auto Connect section.
  • Shortcut: the AI Auto Connect button in the Elements tab opens a guided version of that flow, from checking the photos to a link to share — see the Guided AI Auto Connect section.
  • Once AI Auto Connect has placed a floor, Draw floor plan… in the Floor Plan block draws its walls, doors and windows behind the dots — see the AI Floor Plan section.

  • Transition: in the add-on’s 3D Transitions tab, Style is Walk (3D move) (the default), where the camera moves toward the clicked arrow while the next scene fades in, or Fade, a plain fade. Duration (seconds) sets how long it takes, from 0.3 to 2 seconds (0.7 by default). Walk becomes a fade in VR, when either scene isn’t a full 360° photo, and for visitors whose device is set to reduce motion. Click Save Settings to keep the change. Navigation hotspots have their own transition — see the Go to scene settings section.
  • Floor selector: once scenes are on two or more floors, visitors get buttons named after the floors, and each takes them to the nearest scene on that floor. In Arrow Style, Floor selector hides it, or puts it on one of eight spots: top, middle or bottom, at the left or right, or centered at the top or bottom. To fine-tune, drag it by its handle in the Theme tab (arrow keys nudge it); it stays anchored to the nearest edges on every screen size. Snap back returns it to the picked spot.
