Delete a tour and the Trash
On Business, deleting a tour moves it to the Trash for 30 days, so a tour deleted by mistake can come back. Other plans have no Trash: a deleted tour is deleted for good, and that can’t be undone.
- How to delete: go to https://pano.cool/projects and open the project card’s menu, pick Delete, then confirm with Move to Trash. On other plans, the confirm button says Delete.
- Who can delete: a project’s owner. In a Business team, a member can also delete the projects they made, but no others, and those go to the team’s Trash. Only the owner can open the Trash, restore a tour, delete one for good or empty the Trash, so the owner always has 30 days to bring back what a member deleted.
- In the Trash: the tour goes offline at once. Its link, custom domains and embedded copies stop working, and it leaves the projects list. Nothing is erased yet: its photos, scenes, hotspots, link and custom domains are kept.
- Open the Trash at https://pano.cool/projects/trash or with the trash button next to Refresh on the projects page, Trash in the menu on the left, or Open Trash in the note that shows after you delete a tour. Each tour shows when and by whom it was deleted, its scenes and size, and when it will be deleted for good.
- Restore brings the tour back as it was, with the same link, custom domains and status.
- Delete forever… deletes one tour for good, and Empty Trash… deletes them all. Both ask first, and neither can be undone.
- After 30 days, a tour still in the Trash is deleted for good automatically.
- Storage: a tour in the Trash still counts toward your storage until it’s deleted for good. To free the space at once, delete it forever or empty the Trash.
- Custom domains: a tour in the Trash keeps its custom domains. Adding one of them to another of your tours moves it there.
- When Business ends, the Trash can’t be opened any more: see When Business ends.
- Deleting your PanoCool account deletes everything at once, the Trash included.
