Owner-only editor shortcut on public tour links

When a project owner opens one of their public PanoCool tour links while signed in, a dark circular shortcut appears at the center of the right edge. It provides a quick way to return to the editor without exposing editing controls to visitors.

  • Supported public links: /p/{project-id} and @{username}/{project-slug}.
  • Visibility: the shortcut appears only when the signed-in user’s ID matches the project owner’s ID. Visitors, collaborators, and other signed-in users do not see it.
  • The shortcut is enabled by default for project owners.
  • Click the shortcut to open these options:
    • Edit project: opens /design/{project-id} in a new tab.
    • Close: hides the shortcut for the current page view. It returns after reloading or revisiting the tour.
    • Don’t show this again…: opens the relevant Account Settings section in a new tab; it does not disable the shortcut immediately.
  • To disable or re-enable it permanently, go to Account Settings → Public project views, change Show editor shortcut on my public projects, then save the preferences.
